UX Lead

The UX Lead will be responsible for defining and executing the user experience strategy for Locobuzz's products. This role requires hands-on design expertise while leading and mentoring a team of UX/UI designers. The ideal candidate is experienced in user-centered design and can create intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging experiences that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Leadership Strategy: - Define UX vision and lead the design team - Mentor and guide UX/UI designers to ensure consistent quality - Develop UX best practices and establish design processes Design Execution: - Create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems to maintain a cohesive user experience - Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback User Research & Insights: - Lead user research initiatives, analyze data, and gather actionable insights - Utilize A/B testing to validate and optimize designs Collaboration & Communication: - Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design alignment - Present and communicate design concepts to gain stakeholder buy-in Accessibility & Quality Assurance: - Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards - Conduct quality checks during development to maintain design integrity Qualifications: - 5–8 years of experience in UX/UI design, with 2+ years in a leadership role - Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design for complex digital platforms, preferably SaaS - Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD - Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions - Excellent communication skills for presenting design concepts to stakeholders Good to Have: - Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) - Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices Skills: Usability Testing, User Research Experience: 2.00-8.00 Years
