Must-Have Skills 2 - 4 years of testing experience with profound knowledge in fintech domain. Strong expertise in Automation Web using Cypress, API Strong expertise in API using Postman. Hands-on experience or exposure to AI-driven testing tools and frameworks Understanding of Generative AI (GenAI) in Software Testing Experience using AI tools like GitHub Copilot, or similar for test case generation and automation support. Exposure and work experience using Linux Operating system. Proficient in SQL (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) for backend validation. Experience with test management tools (JIRA) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab). Understanding of prompt engineering for testing use cases Knowledge of banking protocols, payment flows (UPI, IMPS, NEFT, AEPS) is a plus. Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and deployment testing. Good to Have Experience with performance tools (JMeter, Gatling) for stress/load testing Knowledge of security testing basics and compliance testing ISTQB or domain certifications (e.g., CPISI, PCI-QSA) are a plus REST Assured, Selenium. Key Responsibilities Perform end-to-end testing of fintech applications (payment gateways, wallets, lending, and banking platforms) Develop, and maintain detailed test cases, and checklists based on BRDs, FSDs, and user stories. Working in shift left approach, in sprints, and closing E2E Automation within Sprints. Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) for integrations with core banking systems, UPI, Aadhaar, PAN, KYC, etc. Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT, and smoke testing for web, mobile, and backend services Ensure data accuracy through strong SQL-based DB validations across modules (transactions, ledgers, user profiles) Create and maintain automation suites (UI/API/Backend) to reduce manual efforts and accelerate release cycles Collaborate with developers, BAs, DevOps, and product teams to troubleshoot defects and deliver high-quality builds Participate in performance testing for load-heavy flows such as high TPS transaction handling or settlement processing Own defect triage, RCA discussions, and facilitate Go-Live readiness with minimal production issues Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Ability to work independently as well as mentor junior testers Detail-oriented with a high sense of accountability and ownership Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
