Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Network Design & Architecture - Lead the design of highly available, large-scale telephony networks from concept to launch. - Own end-to-end network engineering aspects including architecture, design, scaling, and operations of current and developing networks. - Work closely with software developers to automate network deployment and operations. - Drive standards across the network and ensure compliance with policies. Operational Excellence & Troubleshooting - Drive projects to improve network performance, reliability, and security. - Troubleshoot complex network issues and develop innovative solutions. - Participate in high-severity incident analysis and recommend preventive solutions. - Support the transformation from reactive to proactive operations with a focus on predictiveness. - Enforce and/or tweak SLAs for existing deployments to improve efficiency. Security & Compliance - Strengthen data center security and ensure adherence to network standards. - Configure and manage secure VPN technologies and enforce network security best practices. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management - Partner with Technical Operations and broader teams to reduce operational burden. - Participate in hiring, mentoring, and developing top technical talent. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage project priorities. Automation & Tooling - Automate network deployment and operational processes using scripting (Bash, Perl, Python). - Utilize monitoring tools and develop pipelines to maintain network health and performance. Must-Have Skills: - Telecom SBC, LAN/WAN/SD-WAN infrastructure, SIP, WebRTC, TCP/IP, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Network security, VPN technologies, Cisco IOS, Junos, Linux/Unix, DNS, DHCP, Network monitoring tools, Bash scripting, Perl, Python, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Network performance analysis, DevOps mindset, Communication, Problem-solving, Project management, Stakeholder communication Good-to-Have Skills: MongoDB, Redis, MySQL, Microservice design, Distributed architecture, Monitoring tools, CI/CD pipelines Skills: Ios, Devops, Dns, Linux, Python Experience: 3.00-8.00 Years
