Performance Testing EngineerExperience: 5 12 YearsLocation: Pune / Bangalore / Hyderabad / ChennaiAbout the Role: We are looking for an experienced Performance Testing Engineer who is passionate about ensuring system scalability, reliability, and performance across enterprise applications. This role involves hands-on scripting, execution, analysis, and performance engineering using industry-leading tools and monitoring platforms. As a candidate, you will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and application teams to identify bottlenecks, analyze system behavior under load, and help improve overall system performance.Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner- Perform load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing across applications- Work with multiple protocols including : 1. HTTP/HTML2. Web Services3. Ajax TruClient4. MQ Protocol5. SAP6. Java-based applications- Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights and recommendations- Use monitoring tools to identify system bottlenecks at application, database, and infrastructure levels- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for performance tuning and optimization- Support test debugging and performance engineering activitiesMust-Have Skills: - Strong hands-on experience with JMeter and/or LoadRunner- Experience working with multiple performance testing protocols- Hands-on exposure to at least one monitoring tool, such as: 1. Splunk2. AppDynamics3. Dynatrace4. Grafana- Solid understanding of performance test analysis and reportingGood to Have (Desirable Skills) : - Basic knowledge of AWS / Kafka / MQ- Ability to write basic database queries (SQL)- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands- Understanding of performance engineering concepts in distributed systems (ref: hirist.tech)
