Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Customer Interaction & Coordination Detailed techno-commercial discussions with customers to capture load profile, sanctioned load, consumption pattern, roof/site constraints, backup requirements, electrical infrastructure details, and policy regulations. Prepare preliminary design and share budgetary proposals for Residential and C&I customers based on initial requirement assessment and inputs from sales team Liaise with internal team and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution Track project progress, highlight risks or delays, and ensure timely resolution through coordination. Design & Engineering Knowledge of relevant BIS/IS/IEC/IEEE standards, guidelines and policies related to electrical systems and solar plant design. Detailed design & engineering of solar plants, with preparation of solar project documents such as yield analysis, shadow analysis report, array layout, SLD, earthing system design, lightning protection system design, switchgear design, cable schedule, relay coordination scheme, load flow study, short circuit analysis, SCADA architecture. Project feasibility analysis, costing and financial analysis and preparation of DPR Preparation of BOQ/BOM as per project requirement, in compliance with applicable standards Review and analysis of solar plant performance and assistance to service team with Inspection Test Plan (ITP) for RCA of critical events. Conduct detailed site survey and collect technical data required for feasibility analysis, including rooftop measurements, shadow assessment, structural observations, electrical infrastructure details, interconnection feasibility, cable routing assessment, and identification of site-specific technical constraints. Preparation of as-built drawings and documents required for DISCOM/CEIG approvals. Assist sales team with technical expertise to clarify queries from customers Assist channel partners in selection of components for installation of solar plants Software & Technical Skills Hands-on knowledge of PVsyst, SAM, HelioScope, PV*SOL, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Google Earth Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Fluency in English with prompt and clear communication skills Experience Required : Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in solar design, engineering in Residential and/or C&I solar projects. Educational Qualification : Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or allied engineering streams. Preferred Attributes Basic conceptual understanding of solar applications, electrical systems, and working principles of solar products. Self-motivated with willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving capability. High level of integrity and professionalism
