Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Description Position: Automation Tester Department: Quality Control (QA) Location: Pune Experience: 3+ Years Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester with experience in performance testing, API testing, and test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts, validating application performance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter and Linux is mandatory. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using Apache JMeter. - Create and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business requirements. - Perform API testing and automation for web services and applications. - Conduct performance testing including Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, and Volume Testing. - Execute Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, UAT, and End-to-End testing. - Analyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate with development teams for resolution. - Maintain and optimize automation frameworks and test scripts. - Perform cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-platform testing. - Work closely with Development, QA, and Product teams to ensure quality deliverables. - Prepare test execution reports, automation metrics, and performance analysis reports. Required Skills - 3+ years of experience in Software Testing and Automation. - Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter (Mandatory) . - Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environment and command-line operations (Mandatory) . - Experience in API Testing using Postman or similar tools. - Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Skills - Knowledge of Selenium or other automation tools. - Experience with SQL and database validation. - Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. - Basic knowledge of Java or scripting languages. Qualification - BCA / B.Sc. / MCA / B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent qualification.
