About the Role: As a Software Testing & QA Engineer, you will work closely with software developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and mission-critical applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on business and technical requirements. - Perform manual and automated testing to validate application functionality, usability, reliability, and performance. - Design, build, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, SeleniumBase, and Python. - Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using JIRA and Azure DevOps. - Execute smoke, sanity, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle. - Conduct API testing and validation using Postman to verify integrations and backend services. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and improve product quality. - Participate in design reviews and code reviews to proactively identify quality risks and testing opportunities. - Perform performance and scalability testing to evaluate application responsiveness, stability, and reliability. - Generate detailed test reports, metrics, and documentation to provide visibility into product quality and release readiness. - Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing methodologies to enhance engineering efficiency. - Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in software testing, automation, and quality engineering. Required Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance. - Experience contributing to at least one end-to-end software project in a testing or QA capacity. Technical Skills - Programming: Python, Java, HTML, CSS - Test Automation: Selenium WebDriver, SeleniumBase, PyAutoGUI - API Testing: Postman - Build & Dependency Management: Maven - Version Control: Git - Bug Tracking & Test Management: JIRA, Azure DevOps Testing Methodologies: - SDLC & STLC - Functional Testing - Smoke Testing - Sanity Testing - Regression Testing - Test Case Design & Execution - Defect Lifecycle Management Soft Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. - Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently while contributing to cross-functional teams. - Strong documentation and reporting capabilities. Preferred Qualifications (Optional): - Experience working in Aerospace, Defense, Embedded Systems, IoT, or High-Tech Engineering environments. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Knowledge of performance testing tools and automation frameworks.
