Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities: - Team Leadership & Mentorship: Build, mentor, and manage a team of engineers; drive learning and development initiatives. - Culture & Efficiency: Create an environment where innovation, efficiency, and high performance thrive. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business owners, CFO, CEO's office, and Architects to define objectives, priorities, and timelines; liaise on functional and non-functional requirements. - Project Ownership: Translate engineering roadmap into internal projects; guide the team to deliver end-to-end execution. - Delivery & Quality: Ensure high-quality deliverables through code reviews, test plans, deployment plans, and process adherence. - Metrics & Reporting: Track and report engineering health metrics, including bugs, production incidents, and system performance. Must-Have Qualifications: - 8-10+ years of experience in software engineering with a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent. - Proven experience in backend/platform development, REST APIs, and high-complexity software systems. - Experience in code reviews, system design, and delivery of measurable outcomes. - 1-2+ years of experience building and managing high-performance teams. - Knowledge of Billing and BI tools. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Demonstrated capability for end-to-end ownership of engineering projects. Good-to-Have Qualifications: - Experience with AI technologies. - Experience with cloud deployments, distributed and scalable systems, and DevOps culture.
